What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. We also use browser storage (local storage), a similar place in your browser. In this notice “cookies” means both.
How we use them
When you first visit cway.ee we set no statistics or advertising cookies and we load no Google or Meta tools. Necessary items are used without consent because the site cannot work without them. Only if you choose “Accept all”, or switch “Statistics” or “Advertising” on in “Settings”, do we load the tools you chose and do they set the cookies listed below.

They remember your cookie choice and the list of containers you picked for a quote request. No consent is needed for them.

Statistics
Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are used. Provider: Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (USA).

Advertising
Google Ads and Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram) measure which ads bring enquiries and may show our ads to you on other sites. We also remember which ad brought you to the site. If you send an enquiry, we may pass your e-mail address and phone number to Google Ads in hashed (irreversibly scrambled) form to match the enquiry with the ad click. Providers: Google and Meta (data may be transferred to the USA).

Your choices
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with this button or with the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page:
When you switch a purpose off, we delete our own cookies of that kind and stop the tools. Cookies that Google or Meta set on their own domains (for example IDE, test_cookie and fr) cannot be deleted by us; you can delete them in your browser settings. Your choice is valid for 12 months, then we ask again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (see the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge). Necessary parts, such as the container list, may then stop working.
Proof of your choice
To be able to show that your choice was respected, we keep a record of it: a random number, the date, the version of our texts and your two choices. It contains no IP address and no browser data and is kept for 24 months.

Staff only
Staff members who log in to our admin area get a login cookie (conway_admin, 7 days). Visitors never get it.
